The Estate Agents Registration Board (EARB) on Friday, 6th February, successfully conducted an Induction and Awards Ceremony at Kenya Bankers Sacco, Nairobi, marking an important milestone in the advancement of professionalism within Kenya’s real estate sector.
During the ceremony, 49 Estate Agents were officially registered and inducted into the profession, having met all statutory requirements for registration. The induction underscored EARB’s mandate to regulate, professionalize, and uphold ethical standards within the real estate industry.
The event was graced by the EARB Board Vice Chairperson, Mr. Stephen Omengo, alongside the Registrar, Ms. Hellen Abuya, and Board Members Mr. Cornelius Kimuyu, Mr. Ayub Naburi, and Mr. Daniel Kamunda. The Board Members facilitated informative sessions covering critical areas of professional practice, including Ethics for Real Estate Agents, Legal Issues Commonly Encountered in Practice, and Disciplinary Proceedings. These discussions provided newly registered agents with practical insights into their roles, obligations, and the importance of compliance with the law.
EARB continues to encourage aspiring estate agents to apply for registration and join the growing pool of qualified and compliant professionals. As part of the registration process, all aspiring agents are reminded to attend the mandatory Estate Agents Pre-Registration Training scheduled for 27th February.
