EARB Board Chair Ms. Eunice Macharia appeared before the standing committee on Land, Environment and Natural Resources where Lands CS Hon. Alice Wahome and PS for Lands and Physical Planning Hon. General Nixon Korir were also present.

Ms Macharia presented EARB’s memorandum on the on the Real Estate Regulation Bill 2023 to the committee which was led by its chairman, Nyandarua Senator, Honourable John Methu. The bill seeks to regulate real estate agents, developers of properties for sales purposes and land trading companies that subdivide land for sale popularly known as land buying companies.
